We are the “Heart of Gold Charity” conducting a crowdfunding campaign in our final year. We are from University Malaysia Sabah Labuan International Campus and have been given a task of doing this campaign under subject of Corporate Finance. We have collaborated with Bukit Harapan Kota Kinabalu, Sabah in providing needs to Sabah Chesire Home and Services.

The objective of the crowdfunding is:

1) To increase awareness, educate, empower, and provide guidance to individuals and organizations interested in utilizing crowdfunding as a funding method.

2) Crowdfunding campaigns and sharing case studies can inspire and motivate individuals who are considering crowdfunding. By showcasing real-world examples of projects or businesses that have achieved their funding goals through crowdfunding, it helps individuals understand the potential and possibilities crowdfunding can offer.

We doing crowdfunding campaign in Sabah Cheshire Home and Services. Sabah Cheshire Home & Services is a private and non-profit organization in Tuaran, Kota Kinabalu. The community officially registered on 16th July 1974 in Kota Kinabalu and expand their community in Sandakan on 8th April 2000. Sabah Cheshire Home & Services provide early intervention, livelihood programs and residential care.

RESIDENTIAL CARE

Cheshire Home has a long history of providing residential care to individuals with disabilities. It enhances quality care by providing knowledge and skill training.

LIVELIHOOD PROGRAMS

Economic Empowerment Program comprises of Skill Training and Employment in promoting independent living in all aspects of livelihood for persons with disabilities.

EARLY INTERVENTION

Provides early education to children from 4 and below to ensure that the process of early childhood education for disabled children is carried out with the fullest attention through guidance and early education.

RISK

1. If our fund exceed the target which is RM1500.00, we will still donate to the community where we will buy more basic necesseties based on their wishlist. 
2. If our fund does not reach the target which is RM1500.00, we will ask them what is the most needed items in their community.

CHALLENGE

1. Limited reach and visibility: Gaining attention and reaching a wide audience can be difficult, especially if you don't have an established network or a large following. For example, let's say you're launching a unique board game on a crowdfunding platform. With thousands of other campaigns running simultaneously, it can be challenging to stand out and attract backers to your project.
2. Setting an achievable funding goal: Determining the right funding goal is crucial for a successful campaign. Setting it too high might discourage potential backers, while setting it too low might leave you unable to fulfill your project's requirements.
